Occupy Art Collaboration with Roger Peet, Katherine Ball & Chelsea Peil
During the Occupy movement Katherine Ball, Roger Peet and I got together to make graphics expressing our views. Little did we know that the flags we made would be on the front lines of the Portland March. Creativity wants to evolve systems to work beyond the thinking that created them. Those that choose to create rather than fight against current systems are vital for change. Those that whistle blow, oppose and rebel against current systems also have their place and can also be creators. However, I have found my disgust toward injustice is great motivation to create and collaborate with makers, culture changers and people with imagination and passion in tact. That has its place too.
