Archaeological Apologies
The future will dig up the past. I'll offer a multilayered apology. It's not mine to make, but I want them to know many of us acknowledged how out of balance this time was. ( Art Project In the Making)
Responsive & InteractiveIn a feng shui tizzy, I realized that groupings of my stuff - from my 20's & 30's - for example, could make these "scenes" in the ground to become an archeological mystery for someone to find.
What's the world like upon finding? As the pieces are unearthed and the story mused about, wouldn't it be nice to acknowledge that in my time the way the earth was used and abused was not okay.

Acknowledgement Goes A Long WayThus, archaeological apologies seemed necessary. Acknowledgement, maybe even explanations and stories of people that gave a damn, had a different vision, and those that wanted to give earth a rest to restore from the materialism and pollution that was eating her alive.
It's not your fault!I know, I dislike it too when people apologize for things they didn't do, but it's like an offering, that they too wished it had been different. As the consequences of one thing can lead to the unexpected development of something else. It would be really nice to create that one-way conversation with the future generations.
